Scrap To It!

Here is a project I just finished for Joi at ScrapToIt.com. Joi wanted her logo updated, as well, she needed some high resolution versions of her logo for print purposes.

What I did:

• 3 Different logo choices/edits
• Web Version of her new logo
• Grayscale Version of her new logo
• Transparent and colored backgrounds
  
• Drop shadow Version of her new logo
• Non-drop shadow version of her new logo
• PDF, PNG, JPG, EI, TIFF & PSD Versions of all

Happy New Year!

This has been a second year of changes, and we've been catching our breath to regroup!

So what are our predictions for the year, now that it is 2008?

1) Obama might be winning the primaries, and lead to become our next president;
2) Mortgage meltdown will continue to worsen and affect the economy in a big way;
3) Lots of people will be moonlighting with new web businesses and will need a place to host their website;
4) People will find www.ekreations.com and see that we have some great web hosting deals;
5) People will need to get their professional graphics and web pages done at affordable prices ($35/hr) - check out our portfolio here;
6) Other people may need to manage their databases but cannot afford a fulltime DBA, and thus will consider a remote DBA for a fraction of the price - contact David to discuss further!

"Readying" the 2008 BlueCat Screenplay Website

Always busy reading scripts, putting on screenplay labs from Los Angeles to New York, and keeping in touch with their students, previous winners, and countless industry connections, Gordy and Heather wanted to more clearly define the site's purpose and refine it a bit more. So... on the home page, we introduced left and right columns, changed a black Trebuchet MS to a dark grey Arial font.

This year, the screenplay submission process requires a username and password for better tracking, as this competition continues to grow every year. After all, first place winner gets $10,000!
